About Alice

Alice became interested in fitness at a very young age. It was then she realized that movement was something her body craved. The more she fed that craving, the better she felt. After over 25 years of teaching group exercise and providing personal training, she has come to understand the unique struggles individuals face in dealing with physical limitations, health challenges, as well as progressive and debilitating diseases. Alice enjoys seeing the joy on the faces of her clients when they overcome their difficulties and achieve their fitness and wellness goals.

Health and Wellness Coaching

Alice understands that throughout one’s life there are times when feeling stuck is overwhelming because previous strategies are no longer working. Perhaps it’s the struggle of shedding those last ten pounds, or a circumstance in which stress is high and energy is low, or a recent health crisis has become physically challenging and emotionally frustrating. These are the times in which Alice is willing and able to come along side to help her client find support through an integration of mind, body and spirit.

Medical Exercise

Medical Exercise is considered a safe and effective next step in an individual’s recovery, upon completing the prescribed course of physical therapy. It is not unusual for patients to become concerned about re-injury or fear not regaining previous fitness and lifestyle abilities. This can lead to a feeling of lostness or confusion. Using the Post Rehabilitation and Medical Exercise protocols, Alice works with clients who have been released from physical therapy to address the following musculoskeletal or neurological issues:

  • Rotator cuff tear
  • Shoulder impingement
  • Knee related injuries
  • Total Hip Replacement
  • Total Knee Replacement
  • Low back pain
  • Cervical strain
  • Stroke or other neurological disorders
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Spinal Stabilization
  • Senior Adults
    • Balance and gait training
    • Functional fitness
    • Fall prevention
