Angelia (Angel) Gross

  • University of Arizona, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
  • Arizona State University, Master Social Work
  • Licensed Master Social Worker

At the heart of Angel’s work is the belief that no one should have to move through life feeling alone or simply going through the motions. She views counseling as a supportive space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with hope, meaning, and resilience.

Angel works with children, adolescents, adults, and families, addressing concerns and offering support in areas such as anxiety , depression, perfectionism, burnout, academic stress, life transitions, caregiver stress, grief, relational challenges, and identity-related concerns, including those connected to culture or faith.

Her clinical work experience has been in school-based and outpatient settings, as well as her experience as a caregiver for a family member with Alzheimer’s. This has deepened her understanding of grief, role changes, and the emotional impact of caregiving.

When helpful, Angel integrates practical coping tools with mindfulness, grounding, and gentle movement-based practices, always guided by each client’s values, preferences, and goals. For clients who desire it, she welcomes integrating the Christian faith into the counseling process.
