Helen is an experienced therapist with over 30 years of history working with individuals, couples, and families.
She believes disconnection from who we are is the beginning of all mental health issues from anxiety to addiction. She understands that sometimes others knock us off track and other times we do it to ourselves. Either way, with a little guidance one can usually get back on track.
Helen has also found that most of her clients know what they need to do. It just helps to have a partner in the journey giving us a little push—or pull. While time has given her a wealth of experience, Helen says she still learns from her clients. A client working with Helen might take a walk, listen to a piece of music, discuss a first memory, or breakdown specific dilemmas together. She believes the journey belongs to the client, and she is just a fellow traveler.
